Leaf Gold 24 carat

Booklet of 25 sheets of 24 carat leaf.

This is an Italian brand of lampworking & fusing foil. The gold is pure gold which is compatible with glass, gold plated is not compatible it will blacken and ruin your glass.

Lampworking uses:

Wrap your bead in gold leaf and lightly burnish. Keep it at the very back of the flame. Encase in multiple transparent colours

Fusing uses:

Gently lay in between sheets of glass. This is leaf and as such is impossible to handle. I have had luck by cutting the piece of glass then pressing it onto the leaf, it grabs the leaf and lines the glass shape with a fine gold layer, repeat for more dramatic effects.
